Spring has Sprung

It's been quite a while since I've commented. But I'm going to make it my business to blog once a week to keep you posted on what's going on.

I joined this really great group...Writing Giam x3. It's a small support writing group that inspired me to finish my manuscript IV The Lovers (Work i n process title) and put me right on track with the revisions.

Spring has Sprung in New York City...as did the pollen counts. Sneezing and a box of tissues took over for winter coats and gloves. And tank tops in place of sweatshirts. The warm weather usually works for me, getting my creative juices flowing.

Hope everyone is having a creative week. I will keep you posted on the revisions.

Memories at Coney Island

This has been a crazy winter. Last week I was wearing just a sweatshirt and today, I had on both a sweater, sweatshirt and winter coat. However, I haven't let the cold weather get to me or get in my way of writing. I swear, I refuse to get brain freezew this winter.

I have written a short story, entitled, "Memories at Coney Island", which I invite you to read at:

Authors Den has been my cyber home since September 2002. It is a wonderful place to make new friends and read poetry, short stories and book excerpts of some very talented poets/writers.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! It's been a pretty busy New Year. I decided that I was going to make it a point to make a list of the things I need to do every day. I made one today, and out of twelve things, I completed eight. So a big red star for me. One of the biggest promises I've made to myself is to write every day and continue editing my novel. My next promise is to organize my home and get rid of all the unnecessary cludder that has been building up since Nano.
